"This weekend me and eight of my friends rented a limo and went out to Lancaster." Perplexed, I said, "You took a limousine to Amish Country?" With an ear to ear grin, Skylar told us, "Yup! To Shady Maple's Smorgasbord. Then we went to the Outlet stores and I got a Coach bag." Of course he did.

I hold the worlds record for going to Shady Maple Buffet.Been going there even before they were located in the newest building.I estimate i've been there atleast 500 times since the 1990's and I live 68 miles away,north of Allentown,Pa.Best time of the year to go is when their Valentines special is.2nd best is during New Years Eve.Everything is excellent EXCEPT their demonico and NY strip steaks...those are usually grissly and too fatty,so I avoid them.But their prime rib and beef brisket(when available)is top notch.The king has spoken!
The King indeed! I had never even heard of Shady Maple, but now that I know how fabulous they are, I may need to take a trek on out there and see it all for myself. Thanks for the tip!
